East Coast 17 Washington College
Chestertown MD June 14- 16 2013 FAQ
Q: Why should I register early?
A: Registering early helps us plan the convention of an appropriate size. We have to decide which rooms will hold our main meetings and knowing if you are planning to come will help us make sure that no one is standing out on the lawn. Thank you for registering early!!

Q: What does full registration include?
A: Full registration includes convention registration, 2 nights stay in an apartment suite or dormitory, 5 meals, and all events. The 5 meals are dinner friday, breakfast lunch and dinner saturday, and breakfast sunday. The meals will be served in the Washington College student center and are buffet style meals. The menus are not available until May, as the meals are not planned now. Dormitory registration ($185/weekend) gives you a room shared with another person and the bathroom is at the end of the hall and is shared with the other dorm residents. Apartment registration ($215/weekend) gives you a private or shared room in an apartment. There is a bathroom and shower in the apartment which is shared with your apartment mates. We will take room mate requests and do everything we can to give you your requests.

Q: What are the apartment options?
A: We have rooms in Chester Harford and Worchester buildings. This means there are suites that hold 4 people: 2 rooms with 2 beds or 3 rooms, one with two beds and two with one bed. Also there are suites that hold 7: 2 doubles and 3 singles. Get your 4 or 7 people and send in the forms all at once (although not required - just list the names of those rooming with you). Note which 2 people are sharing a room. Its ok if you don't have 4 or 7 people, we will put nice people in your suite and your bedroom door won't open with their key!

Q: What does "Convention Registration" include?
A: Convention Registration only ($25) is standard convention registration. With it, you have helped us plan for your attendance at the convention. You can come to all the meetings and events.

Q: Can I buy meals at the dining hall if I only buy convention registration?
A: Yes, but we have to commit to meals with the university before the convention. If you buy your meals now, you ensure that you will be able to get them during the convention. Breakfast is $12, Lunch is $15 and Dinner is $20. All 5 meals is $79. Some meals will be available for sale at the convention but we recommend buying them in advance, as we can only go up 10%. We cannot guarantee that you can buy a meal on site. Thank you.

Q: Why are all these fees higher in your online store? http://www.freewebstore.org/ECCNA2013
A: All the fees are higher by the cost of taking your money as charged by paypal. Each fee is 30 cents plus 3% higher. If you don't want to pay the fees, send a check for your full registration, or day registration plus meals if you choose those to our address, or give it to anyone from our committee. We have the store to accommodate your desire for easy online payments, but we hope you won't mind paying the fees associated with the ease of online transaction.
